The project is based on the priorities of the Guidelines, Regional Development Law of Lithuanian Republic, Progress strategy „Lithuania 2030“, development plans of municipal institutions and offices, the European Commission‘s Lifelong Learning memorandum, the non-formal adult education law of Lithuanian Republic and the lack of smart management in the public sector. The project is designed for the state, public health, social sectors and educational institutions employees, has a special significance for regional development and training of staff competencies in the target, problem areas and regional centers. Project goal: to develop smart management in the public sector by conveying Norwegian partner‘s knowledge, best practices, promoting sustainable development and territorial cohesion in regions. Objectives: 1. To improve the competencies and skills in the field of smart management in public sector by conveying Norwegian partner‘s best practices and promoting lifelong learning; 2. To strengthen administrative and public capacities of smart management by enabling stable and sustainable regional development; 3. To enable regional sustainable development by development and deployment of innovative anti-corruption tools at local and regional level.
Project consist form 3 groups of activities: 1. Development and adaptation of the competencies development programs and courses of smart management in public sector; 2. Development and adaptation of the programs and courses to improve administrative and public capacities of smart management; 3. Development of the interactive system of anti-corruption tools. Indicators of activities implementation:
4 visits (2 Lithuania-Norway and 2 Norway-Lithuania), developed virtual learning environment, 2 programmes, 7 courses, organized training and conferences involved 411 participants, organized 4 events, published 2 publications, 1 developed anti-corruption system and 1 organized conference.
